If you haven’t noticed, my style is vintage and preppy loving. On any given day you can probably find me wearing a skirt and sweater, although sometimes I switch the skirt for skinny jeans. I grab any opportunity to wear a dress, and Oxford shoes are no strangers to my feet. I love being fun and funky, and I know that everyone has their own personal style, but I just wanted to share mine with you!
So I will show a peek at my wardrobe with the pictures I include.
I believe that your style should definitely reflect your personality. If you are a rocker, a hippie, or a girlie-girl, show it! You should exude loveliness from the inside out. I carry my love of vintage from clothes to music, movies, and school(my favorite subject has always been history). My music loves include Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles(of course), and The Beach Boys. The movies I adore are Mary Poppins, My Fair Lady, and The Sound of Music(I know, mostly Julie Andrews). I would love to hear about your loves and style(put them in comments)!
I love scarves, and in my hometown I am well-known for wearing them. They are such great accessories that can transform an outfit! I have both small scarves and big, and I think that all sizes are amazing.
With scarves, there is no limit to the styles they can have. Any color, pattern, or shape that you prefer! They can match your outfit, or stand out from it. Wearing scarves shows that you make an effort with your style, as well as being easy to pull on when getting ready in the morning.
They can be arranged in so many different ways. You could wrap it, tie it, or knot it to the side. It doesn’t even have to be around the neck! It could be around the head, the waist, or the shoulders.
I think scarves are the perfect completion to a great outfit. Scarves are a staple to a stylish girl’s wardrobe!
This is a style pioneered by the Japanese. There are even special streets in Tokyo where you are likely to find these men and especially women. I find this style of dress so interesting because it is all so complicated and beautiful. There are even different styles of this trend(Gothic Lolita, Ganguro, Cosplay, Visual kei,and Decora) ! When Americans found out about it(mostly because of pop star Gwen Stefani)they were intrigued! Why wouldn’t they be? Take a look!
