Hot Air Balloons
I was looking at some old photos today and noticed the ones from a hot air balloon race last autumn. I remember the day; we had to wake up very, very early so we could see dawn patrol. That’s when the run hasn’t risen and a few hot air balloons fly into the sky, where their fires glow in the darkness. It is always magical to be there. then all of the balloons inflate as the sun rises and everyone watches them float into the air. I love the bright colors of the balloons; I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
There are so many pictures that I can’t fit them all, but I can add mare later if you would like!
A Day in the Windy City
I’m sorry that I couldn’t post this until this morning; I had no Internet. Yesterday I had a lot of fun exploring the city and getting a feel for the mood in Chicago. We have been staying in a suburb outside the city slew had to ride the train. It was an interesting experience, but stressful on the way back when we were riding at rush hour! When we got into Chicago we took a taxi to Navy Pier. It was really fun there! After that we just explored! Here are all the photos:
Rose Garden

I visited a lovely rose garden today. The bright blooms everywhere definitely reminded me of summer. I feel lucky that such a pretty sight is open to the public! You might have guessed from my blog’s title that I delight in seeing flowers. Here they are:
